Tony Myers and his team at Autospray (Darlington) have developed a special interest in Mercedes-Benz, kindled by a close partnership with Diamond Garage of West Auckland, who's proprietor Neville Wright is not only a well-respected member of the Mercedes-Benz club and captain of the W124 series, but also a very successful concourse competitor and judge.
This partnership has gone from strength to strength over the past few years resulting in some very favourable commendations in the club magazine, and some excellent results in the national concourse from our "northern stable". Not least of all Neville's own W124 winning the 2012 master class. Other class wins from this stable include Bernard Surtees's W202, Bernie is also a long standing friend of Tony's (with whom he shared some of his misspent youth at school) and now also gives generous support with club matters; and Malcolm Sinclair with his W124 cabriolet.
Needless to say Tony has now joined the club and is becoming involved at some events advising on body and paintwork matters.
